I planted the “Lake” block in the early 1970’s; they are our oldest Cabernet Sauvingnon vines. This block seems to have a distinctive character I might describe as “elegant” and it always seems to be a major factor in our Cabernet “Estate” blends.


2006 CABERNET SAUVIGNON "LAKE"

This wine is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, all grown at York Creek in a block we call "The Lake." We bottle less than ten barrels.
