This block of Cabernet is one of our highest at almost 2000 feet. The soil and exposure vary slightly within the block and this means that to achieve the highest quality we often pick several times.

2003 CAB. SAUVIGNON (TRACK)

In 2003 we used most of this wine in our "Estate" blend, but it was so rich and intense that we could not resist bottling a little separately. This is a "big" cabernet, beautifully ripe and rich, as deep as they come.

(90 cases bottled, aged in French oak barrels, 50% new)
