2003 CAB. SAUVIGNON ESTATE
The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon fraction is 80% and is itself a blend from three blocks: Springhouse, Lake, and Track. The rest of the blend is 12% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. Our several Cabernet Sauvignon blocks all produced such lovely, intense wines in 2003 that we decided on a blend using 80% of that variety. The other three varieties were also very intense. This is a wine which great complexity, a wine which is rich and intense now and should age beautifully.
