2003 MERLOT
This wine is 100% Merlot because we are interested in showing this varietal in its pure form. The idea that Merlot is a "soft" variety is a joke up on Spring Mountain, where big, intense Merlot wines are the norm. The 2003 is typical in that respect, dark and rich, it should age beautifully.
